Two thoughts today: 1. Baseball players are talking strike; laid off workers say, “Who cares?” 2. Boss tickets meant fewer stories in Tuesday’s paper. On numero uno, as a reporter who used to cover major league baseball, my only thought is that football season starts soon and we don’t have to put up with a bunch of whiny, overindulgent underachievers. Guys, get a clue. There are more important things than stroking your bats. On numero dos, work ground to a halt for a lengthy discussion on why rich people get all the great stuff, like Bruce tickets. Guys and gals, let me remind you of the Golden Rule: He who has the gold, makes the rules. Nuf said.
