And it rained forty days and forty nights

Will it ever stop raining? So we had a drought last year that stretched out into eternity. We’re really making up for it this winter and spring. I mean Weather.com has a forecast of rain every day this week!

I’m going to have to cut the grass with a tractor if we get anymore rain. And of course, my run of bad luck continues. After I cut the grass on Friday (was that the last time we had sun?) just before we had a showing on our house, the keys to the storage shed lock slipped into the well where the car brake his housed. I’m mean, what kind of luck is that? Either I have to get some small person (see previous stories of 5-year-old) to stick her hand in the well and try to retrieve the key or find someone with a lock cutter. In trying to get the key out, by the way, I lost a magnet down there, too.

Now I’m starting to think that my wife is, right: The glass is half empty and there’s a tiny hole in the bottom that’s going to drain the water over time causing pain and suffering to all who blindly ignore its consequences. Geez!
