So we’ve moved. Thank goodness. I held my breath for weeks because of all the stuff that went wrong leading up to the big day.
And on the day of closing, when we knew it was going to be all over, we had to run out and get a certified check to complete the downpayment on the new house. Of course, the folks at the bank had no idea how to do a certified check so it took us more than an hour.
But I’m back. The computer is hooked up. The house is great (except for the endless stacks of boxes. How did we ever live in a three bedroom, two bath house with all this stuff?)
You’ll be reading more from me in the coming weeks. The kids are funnier than ever. We have new neighbors. Life is … different.
