Fresh meat

There are days (like today) when I fantasize about dangling my youngsters over hungry crocodiles, but that thought generally stays in the back of my mind.

Not so for the “Crocodile Hunter.” Australia’s Steve Irwin decided that his month-old, let me repeat, month-old son could step up to the (dinner) plate as Irwin cradled him in one hand and fed a rather large croc with the other.

Irwin’s stunt, seen on Australian TV, garnered great outrage from viewers and was reviewed by authorities who decided not to press charges.

So at a press conference, Irwin justifies his actions by saying he might rethink doing it again, but says (according to The AP), “But I would be considered a bad parent if I did not teach my children crocodile savvy because they live here. They live in crocodile territory … so they have to be croc savvy.”

Steve, you’re going to teach a one-month-old baby croc savvy? Dude, if you can do that, I’ve got a much easier chore for you:

Teach my 2-year-old potty savvy!!! Toilets don’t bite. At least, that’s what I keep telling her.
