Okay, so since no one is reading this anyway, I’m naming names. Susan, my lovely and talented wife, and I are on the way to Chapel Hill today. Susan receives her Carl K. Bell Award for editing excellence today.
I’m excited about it. But I’m more excited about being away from work (we’re going to the North Carolina Press Association awards tonight, too) and having a day and night of adult conversation.
Spending so much more time with the kids has been fun, but “when I was a child…”
