Tuning in

Someone in the office yesterday sent out an e-mail asking if anyone used the iTunes site; she wanted to know because she bought a Pepsi and had a cap with the 10-digit code for a new tune download.

I asked her to let me know who responded. Several people did. She told me the names but only one – I’m guessing ’cause I haven’t talked to everyone who asked her – is likely to have an iPod. The others probably download to their computers.

Apparently, the iPods are big in cities like New York to the point of being annoying now (Ever tried to tell someone to get the #$%@ off your foot only to notice they’ve got wires hanging from their ears and they’re popping their fingers?).

I’m just trying to figure out what this means for our town?
