Our youngest daughter reminded me so much of Puss In Boots from "Shrek 2" today: the sad cat eyes lure you in then she strikes.
I’ve been told she has the capacity to charm — having 2-year-old boys waiting on her at preschool — but I saw it first-hand today. After I picked her up and then went to my oldest daughter’s afterschool program, Camille walked in to the TV room where a bunch of older kids lay watching "Shrek." The older girls were fawning all over Camille like she was a movie star.
One got up, got a large pillow, laid down with the pillow in her lap, and motioned Camille over to sit. Camille laid down on the pillow and crossed her legs to watch the movie. All that was missing was someone to feed her grapes from the vine and some eunuchs fanning her with palm fronds.
As Puss said, "Pray for mercy…"
