Yes, like many of you I’m lusting for an iPod. But not having one, right now, I’m still having loads of fun with the app that makes the iPod work — iTunes. Without iTunes, the iPod isn’t just another MP3 player, it doesn’t work. And the press is missing the point. You hear about the sales of the iPods, but not much about the success of the cross-platform iTunes in conjuntion with the iPod.
So, if you don’t have an iPod, go check out iTunes anyway for managing your music collection. You might even buy a couple of songs.
