I downloaded three Lenny Kravitz songs a couple of days ago: Lady, American Woman and Fly Away. I plugged in some speakers and had those songs playing after the girls’ bath.
They were dancing in the office in their nightgowns. I ran into our room and grabbed the video camera and started shooting. They were both doing karate moves in lieu of dancing, well, and dancing how a 6- and 3-year-old would dance.
Cute.
It was a love fest. But at one point, the 6-year-old — accidentally — threw a beautiful left hook — wham! — catching the 3-year-old square in the mouth. And I caught it on tape.
All is well and there are no teeth missing. But it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.
