We — the wife and I — may soon join the league of boom and each get iPods soon. I recently sold an old PC and we’ve scrimped enough (including the school discount) to pick up a shuffle and possibly a 20 Gig or a Mini — I haven’t decided yet.
The entire office almost is packin’ Pods. They’re even putting stories about ‘em in the paper.
One guy — I convinced him to buy one for his wife for Christmas — has usurped it, even though he’s lower on the totem pole than she is.
If Apple bumps the Mini to 5 Gs in the next week or so, I’ll probably go that route. I may also buck the trend and go gold ‘stead of silver, probably the most popular color.
Then again, we could use the money to pay bills…
