With Black History Month upon us, I’m putting Black America Web’s series “The State of Black America” high on my list of things to read. As my 6-year-old begins to ask more and more questions about her heritage – some brought on by her own curiosity and some that have been topics of discussion at her school – dad and mom should probably get more up-to-date info on what’s going on today.
