Calling all volcano geeks! Got this earlier this week from my friend the volcanologist, who got them from a colleague in Russia. It’s the Klyuchevskoy volcano on February 13. They call it Strombolian activity (the intermittent explosion or fountaining of basaltic lava from a single vent or crater). I call it cool.
