Validation?

I’ve been an Apple fan since the mid- to late ’80s when I used them at my old paper and when I bought my first one, an SE. I’ve ridden the ups and downs of the company via equipment purchases and stock buying and selling.

And, my wife will even admit this, there was a certain appeal when we first started dating and I found out her sister worked for Apple!

Despite the dumb-a** sh** that they’ve done with their products over the years, I’ve never swayed in my loyalty.

I’ll use anything you put in front of me, but I prefer the Mac.

Now, there seems to be, at least a little, validation for my devotion as Apple has surpassed the likes of Google, Starbucks, and even the ubiquitous Coca-Cola as the world’s most influential brand.

EVERYBODY’S first computer was an Apple. Even mine. I work for 36 people. Out of those 36, 4 (stubborn asses!) people have MACs and they are total pains. I can’t tell you how many times I have to log off so they can get on MY PC because their MAC won’t work. And STILL they keep them.

    So loyalty, yeah. BLIND loyalty.

By the way, when I need Kleenex, I buy Puffs.

Sounds to me like it’s not the computer.

Puffs? We don’t need not stinking Puffs! Vamos muchachos! :-)
