My iPod Shuffle (a VALENTINES DAY present) just arrived today, and I’m loving the random offiering it’s feeding my soul from among my favorite music. So far, James Taylor, Peter Gabriel, Dave Matthews, Counting Crows, Jimmy Buffett, and now Dire Straits.
Would it be too weird if I went to sleep with these buds in my ears?

No that wouldn’t be wierd. Better yet plug it into some external speakers and share the music.

I need your advice. I would LOVE to get Mr. Wonderful an IPod someday, but that is not in the budget cards for now. BUT Circuit City and Best Buy, (and even Target, I believe) are advertizing IPod Shuffles for $99.00. He’s started walking and uses a dinosaur CD player now. While I can’t afford the grown-up IPods, I could afford a $99.00 Shuffle to stick in his Easter basket. Is it worth doing or should I hold out until I can afford the real thing?
Also, I know he would HATE the ear buds. Can you use other headphones with it?

I ADORE the Shuffle. It holds a ton of music and it’s tiny –literally the size of a pack of gum, and probably lighter weight. Perfect for walking. Or dancing around naked at home…oh, wait, that’s me.:)
