Day 2 of the Kids Can Spew the Darndest Things saga continues.
Abby took sick Sunday night and I stayed up until 2:45 a.m. washing sheets, comforters and clothes — not to mention walls floors and beds. I had to pull out the Q-Tips for the fine detail. Susan took body cleanup duty, which was no small task since Abby was losing it at both ends.
I stayed home with her Monday, when she slept most of the day.
This morning, she’s better but still at home, but now Camille is sick. We knew something was up when she ate very little breakfast.
You hate it when the kids are sick, Luckily we’ve been spared. So far. From the sickness at least.
But if one more tree guy comes by asking about cutting down one of our trees, I’m having one of the kids spew on ‘em.
Update: In an e-mail from one of Susan’s sisters, it appears most of the family members at our Mothers’ Day gathering took ill also. I don’t know if there was a patient zero or if it was other factors, but I hope everyone’s well soon. I’m not feelin’ my best now either.
