Five, actually. I saw this little sparrow building a nest in one of the hanging baskets I recently hung in the back yard — at least, I thought she was building a nest. I wasn’t sure until I checked the other day, inadvertently scaring her off a nest filled with five little eggs.
She came back, and I’m hoping our intrusion to take this picture didn’t scare her away permanently. Hopefully, we’ll be able to update with pictures of the baby birds soon. Mark is way ahead of us, it seems.

An addition to the family
