If you haven’t caught it on our Web site, the Minority Journalism Workshop just concluded its 25th year. We had eight students working their butts off for the week. The ate well, too.
Not all of them want to be journalists. But here’s a good sign: One is going to be writing for the teen page this fall and another is interested in the Landmark Scholars program.
Another has writing in his blood, but he’s making his voice heard visually, through illustration and photography.
All in all, it was another fun and interesting week. Check out their work in the newspaper we put together at the end of the week.
