Testing e-mail notification

I’ve added e-mail notification (a link is under “Meta” in the sidebar). So, if you want to be notified by e-mail, click the link and sign up!

Well, not quite yet. I don’t have the template fixed. And I’m experimenting with this post.

Update: Looks like I got the template fixed. Phew!

    Not bad. I like it.

About the email notification, I thought about using it once but with Bloglines and using NetNewsWire it can be redundant. Just my opinion.

It’s gonna be another warm one today…

Yeah, with Bloglines and NetNewsWire it is redundant. But I’m finding that many family members aren’t that tech savvy, so this is an alternative for them. I’m going to put in a few of their e-mail addresses.

RE: “warm one.” I’m a little worried about Abby being at camp. She did fine yesterday, but I wouldn’t want to be out there!

I tried to use something like this. But i found that everytime you save a post (even after editing) it would email it. Does yours do that? If not how can I get it? :)

    Hey, Calvin!

I’m using the subscribe2 plugin. It was a bear to get it to work with my template, but I finally found the info I needed in the comments. Here’s the site where I got it.

There’s a workaround for not posting each time. It’s a little cumbersome, but you have to deactivate the plugin before making changes. It’s in the comments section of the above link.
