Bathtime follies

OK, I swore I was going to lay off the cute kids stories, but I just can’t. Tonight as I was slathering them with lotion after bathtime, Camille started twisting and turning, and asked, "Mommy, where’s my bookmark?" "Birthmark, honey. You mean birthmark." "No, it’s a bookmark, just one on your body instead of a book."

That’s a good one, reminds me of the time I argued with my mother about the spelling of the word “saw” (as in I saw you at the park) I told her that s-a-w was something you cut with. But I don’t remember how I thought it actually was spelled. But somehow I knew I was right.

    Aja,

You thought it was spelled “sol” (pronounced “sawl”) as in, “I sol it”. I had to show it to you in a book to get you to believe me!!

    xoxo to all,

    Anna
