It was finally time to do the “Great Pumpkin” thing and stop at the pumpkin patch. One more question from Camille about when we were going to get a pumpkin may have resulted in a Friday-the-13th-type scene.
We stopped at a local church — the same one we’ve been buying pumpkins from for almost as long as we’ve been married — after the fall festival at Camille’s preschool (pics to come).
What we weren’t prepared for was the reaction from Camille.
I lost count, but she hugged and kissed at least three pumpkins she was so happy to finally be buying one.
No kidding.
We tried to line them up for pics afterward at a little display the church had set up. But we couldn’t get either of them to keep a straight face.
Hence, happy “goofball” Halloween from us.
