Well, not quite.
We visited the Delaware Museum of Natural History while visiting my parents. The current traveling exhibit is about football.
There was lots of information about the history and science of the game, most of which was hands on:
- a cage where you could try to throw a ball to “recievers” which were on a tarp with large holes you had to put a football through (I was never a quarterback);
- a machine that let you test your grip (I was a semipro and Susan, well, needs a little work);
- a display that showed you how the angle of a kick affected its distance;
- and a cool display that allowed you to see how difficult it was to catch a spinning ball versus one without rotation
Too bad they didn’t have a display showing you how to do well at fantasy football. I could have used that one.
