I once fell asleep standing up. At parade rest (for you military people). On a parade ground. With people looking. And i didn’t fall down.
One time, I fell asleep flying in Huey. With the doors open. Flying nape of the earth. Over West Virginia.
I’ve never fallen asleep – for long – at the wheel. I wouldn’t be here typing this post if I had.
But I’m proud to say I can sleep almost anywhere.
And now, I can say, our youngest daughter can, too.
This happened just this past weekend while Susan was making chili. I did pick her up and put her on the couch. After taking the picture, of course.
You’ve got to admit that this is way too cute.

Hooper goes full-speed so much that sometimes when he crashes, he really crashes. I once had him on my lap while playing Addams Family on the computer and got up to go to the bathroom. When I returned not two minutes later, he was curled up in my desk chair, sawing logs.
