Here’s Abby with another belt! She wore it for the first time this week because she missed all of last week being sick.
When I didn’t have to pay strict attention to Camille during practice, I saw that Abby’s confidence on the mat has increased a lot.
The bonus tonight was that she got to put on her pads and spar. Her opponent hadn’t sparred before, and Abby took full advantage. Although Abby’s punches and kicks wouldn’t hurt me, I was proud of how she went after the other girl.
She smiled the whole time, of course.
