Hoot Reloaded

Our resident barred owl has become a constant fixture on his backyard perch. He’s there almost all the time, including during the day. We haven’t seen him catch anything yet, but he’s there on the same branch all the time, mostly silent and watching. According to Wikipedia, barred owls are the most likely to be seen during the day — especially when nesting! So we’re hoping for lots of little hoots yet to come.

Do you think you could get a picture of him during daylight hours? I would love to see him/her.
