Pic of the week, 05.29.06

It’s the return of the pic of the week in a new format.

Now that I’ve caught up with school, I can catch up with some bloggin’. This pic is from a while back (as most will be until I can catch up). Abby gets on a roll around her birthday. It’s not quite like partying like it’s 1999 but the celebration can stretch into a monthlong party.

In this pic, she’s holding one of her presents which she didn’t get until a week after her birthday. She picked out this American Girl doll to look like her and it really does. She even calls her "Little Abby."

A book that comes with the doll lets her fill out lots of info about the doll to give her a personality. One of the questions is if she could choose any three people to be her friends, who would they be. She chose Rosa Parks, Jimmy Buffett and Ruby Bridges . No explanation for why these three.

But we’re good with the choices. A doll’s gotta keep good company, right?
