School inflation

The price of going to school is on the rise. [Via The Columbus Dispatch]

A National Retail Federation survey that polled about 9,000 consumers predicts the average family will spend about $527 on back-to-school shopping, an increase from last year’s $444. The number includes money spent on electronics, clothing and shoes as well as basic supplies.
