This is my first introduction to team sports for our kids. Abby’s late to the world of soccer, but thankfully, she seems to enjoy it as much as karate.
We missed the first game because I had to be in Southern Pines for a meeting. So today was our first experience with GYSA. Most of the Tigers have been together for a few years, but Abby joined just this year. She’d been reluctant to participate on a team sport before, despite my prodding.
Susan and I were really proud of the way she played, making a couple of great passes and playing pretty good D.
According to Lex, we played a team today which we were much more evenly matched with. The Tigers hustled all game long.
