A rainout last weekend forced the girls two play two this weekend. I missed Saturday’s victory when the girls, according to Susan, played with the cohesiveness they’ve been building up to all season long. The Tigers beat the Shakers 2-0. I spent the day at an alumni association board meeting on Saturday.
Last week’s makeup was today, but Susan went out of town and I had the opportunity to be at the girls’ last game of the season. They pulled off a 4-0 win over the Hotshots.
The Tigers finished the season 3-5. But what’s most impressive to me is the fun they had whether winning or losing. And Abby has grown leaps and bounds, too. This is her first time playing any organized sports and she enjoyed it immensely. This was a great team of girls and a great group of parents.
We’re looking forward to the spring.

Cool! I’m so glad they finished on a high note! Sounds like Abby will want to play win or lose, which is great!! I’ll have to try the “growling technique” when playing Pente!
