It truly is the Taj Ma-Teeter now. At 72,000 feet, it’s the largest grocery in the country.
Not that Camille cares. She’s more interested in what’s inside. Abby just wanted to see it.
So we stopped by tonight to see what all the fuss was about. We didn’t even make it through half the store. We bought a build-your-own pasta for the girls (bowtie pasta, marinara, peppers and onions and shrimp) made while we waited.
I bought some Southwest shrimp for Susan and me.
The store is definitely worth exploring, and it’s one more reason to hang around a little longer. And, do I dare say, the parking situation is might be better than the old location.
But the best reason is what I wish would be in the old spot. That would keep me here permanently.
I say that like I’ve got a choice.

Hmph. I stopped by the old one after a long election night, badly needing a beer, and it was CLOSED. Lady workin’ there said the new one opens at 8 tomorrow. I said, well, that’s nice, but I need beer NOW.
Hmph.
I’m hoping for a Cheesecake Factory in the old spot.
Cheesecake Factory? When we have Alex’s?
