The process to unbraid then re-braid the kids’ hair can take up to two-and-a-half hours. It takes Susan about 20 minutes to unbraid and brush, about 15 minutes for me to bathe them, then another hour or more to braid, all depending on the mood of the girls and the chores that need to be done.
And that’s just one head.
We captured a little of the post-undbraiding for Camille a little while ago. Needless to say, she likes to play for the camera, still or video.
