Oh, the wonderful things people say

quip (kwĭp) n.

  1. A clever, witty remark often prompted by the occasion.
  2. A clever, often sarcastic remark; a gibe. See Synonyms at joke.
  3. A petty distinction or objection; a quibble.
  4. Something curious or odd.

I don’t read books as much as I’d like to, but I read alot: Web sites, magazines, newspapers, anything I get my hands on that’s interesting. Susan, on the other hand, is like a shark in a feeding frenzy around books.

There are times when we come across little sayings that we love and use a lot. For example, we watched “The Birdcage” last night which is full of great lines we use around the all the time.

For example:

Celsius: Chewing gum helps me think.
Albert: Sweetie, you’re wasting your gum!

We want to share our favorite chuckle to laugh riot quips we come across. I’ve found a couple in the paper the past few days.
