Disturbing

Here’s my vote for disturbing product introduction of the week: the Infusion Roaster. You be the judge: infusion roaster or turkey bidet?

As if the photo weren’t troubling enough, add this text, straight from the press release:

Roasting turkey and chicken typically takes a lot of time and often results in dry meat. The Infusion Roaster is a high-quality roasting pan … which infuses moisture into poultry and reduces roasting time by half.

Despite the looming threat of dry meat, I just can’t have that thing in the kitchen around my children.

Hey! I don’t believe giving half of your can of beer to the chicken is being mean! It works for both the bird AND me.

(The only mean part is if you drink more than half the beer in which case it doesn’t matter how much of the beer the chicken gets, you’re not going to notice the taste difference anyway.)

Actually, the chicken can have the whole can. Get drunk if it wants to. I’m drinkin’ wine. :-D
