My parents brought back our progeny today.
For the past four years, at least one of the kids has spent a week hangin’ with my folks in Delaware.
Last year was the first time they both stayed a week.
This year, they stayed 12 days. Unc T’s pool and hot tub had a lot to do with that.
When Camille broke down on Friday because she was homesick, Abby talked her into staying a little while longer. The pool and hot tub were big draws.
Susan and I appreciated being single a little while, especially in light of our recent woes.
What did we do with the majority of our free time, which wasn’t a lot since I had a business trip out of town for several days? We talked about the kids when we weren’t talkin’ about work.
We’re glad they’re home.
