Alisha climbed on the counter while the robber took money and packs of menthol cigarettes. Mom dialed 911.

And Alisha ran after the robber as he left.

“I was trying to see where he was going,” she said Tuesday.

Once outside, Alisha said the robber pulled his gun on her.

She held up her polka-dot security blanket in defense. Then crumpled. And cried.

    I saw this on TV yesterday morning. What a brave little girl…..and she was precious with her blanket.

    Reminds me of the scene in Crash where the father puts the invisible blanket or cape on the girl. Later, she thinks she’s protected from a bullet by the blanket.
