And now a few words from our sponsor

Sometimes, Camille can say some really profound things. So when she opened breakfast this morning with this amazing observation, we were duly impressed:

Camille: “You know Mommy, you can live alone without being alone.”

We waited for the truth that would set us free. But what came next we didn’t expect.

Camille: “If you have Life Alert.”

We fell down laughing. We did get up.

Way too much TV for this one.

A couple of months ago, Hooper memorized the entire Life Alert commercial (which airs, for some weird reason, on Cartoon Network), except that where the commercial said “senior citizen,” he said “OLD citizen.” Which was funny enough, but then he called Ann’s mom and told her, “Granny, you need to get Life Alert because it’s for old citizens and you are an old citizen” before reciting the thus-edited commercial to her word for word. We were in the van when he did this, and I almost drove up a utility pole from laughing.

Hahahaha!!! That child is something else!!! When I was little one of my favorites was “Help!!! I’ve fallen down and i can’t get up!!” Susan will remember that, big family joke. It’s possible that that too, was a life alert commercial, although I am not sure….
Another great one is my mom reciting the old “frito bandito” song from Frito’s corn chips commercial…now that is a riot….
