This time of year usually brings with it a fairly serious illness for Susan. The wet, moldy leaves among other fall allergy contributors have for years caused her to have at least one serious bout with bronchitis.
I’m sorry to report that it’s much worse this year. She’s now down and out with pneumonia.
After a rough weekend, she sought medical help on Monday and finally got the meds she so desperately needed. But it’s going to take awhile to shake this.
I’ve had respiratory problems in the past, even slight bouts with asthma. But this is a whole other ballgame.
Wish her well, but don’t call. She needs to save her breath.
Oh no, Susan! I’m so sorry to hear this. There was an article in today’s paper about the huge number of leaves this year that seemed to fall all at once.
I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thanks Dawn.
And verily, mucus lay heavy upon the land. Which sucketh. Please tell Susan we’re hoping for a quick recovery!
Susan – We are praying for a swift recovery. My suggestion: mix honey and lemon juice with Jack Daniels.
That concoction would be for me Scott.
Thanks, all. Give me another week or so, and I’ll be bossing everybody around again.
Don’t push recovery. Make them order Thanksgiving dinner out.
Get well soon!
